What Now, 50 & Fabulous are Friday league champs

Cleveland-These are the final standings of the North Coast Bowling Association's Friday night bowling league. The games of March 25 marked the end of the season's second half.

Division 1 first-half champs Fifty & Fabulous won the April 1 roll-off with second-half champs Hang'en on the Edge.

In Division 2, the second-half champions What Now bested the first-half champs Ten Balls and a Split.

Fifty & Fabulous will bowl What Now for the overall championship on Friday, April 8, and it is individual tournament for all.

Bowling begins at 7 pm Fridays at Ambassador Superior Lanes, 1500 Superior Ave. in downtown Cleveland, and finishes by 9:30 pm.

Cleveland-Flame Throwers and Tater Tots are champs for the season's second half in the two divisions of the North Coast Bowling Association's Sunday league. They will play the first-half champs on April 10 with the grand championship and team tournament on April 17.

The NCBA Sunday league is northeast Ohio's original gay bowling league, now ending its 31st season. They bowl at Freeway Lanes of Parma, 12859 Brookpark Rd. near West 130th St., at 1 pm. Rainbow season's first

Cleveland-At the end of the Rainbow Bowlers season, Panties in a Twist finished first with a won-lost record of 127 to 62. The league congratulates team members Steven Farrell, Michael Liska, Jim Hassel and Andy Pierson.
